Tomato Details |
Type— Indeterminate (I) or Determinate (D) The “Determinate” or “bush” varieties are those that reach a certain plant height and then stop growing, with most fruit borne over a four to six week period. The “Indeterminate” varieties continue to grow and flower throughout the season, but they have less mature fruits at any one time. |
Disease Resistance To combat disease problems common to some tomato varieties, you may consider planting the more modern hybrid varieties that have inbred disease resistance compared to the standard types that have been passed down for generations.
The disease identification codes shown below follow the variety name: V – Verticillium wilt F – Fusarium Wilt FF – Fusarium, Races 1 & 2 FFF – Fusarium, Races 1, 2, & 3 N – Nematodes T – Tobacco Mosaic Virus A – Alternaria Stem Canker St – Stemphylium Gray Leaf Spot |
