Dill’s Greenhouse is located southeast of Columbus between the suburbs of Groveport and Canal Winchester. Dill’s Greenhouse was established in 1983 in what was the Sims Greenhouse facility with 13,000 sq. ft. of space. The original four Sims greenhouses were built in 1923. These original greenhouses have been replaced with modern metal greenhouses. Consistent growth has increased production and the retail areas to 10 acres.
We grow our own Annuals, Perennials, vegetable plants, and Hanging Baskets at Dill’s. Almost all of our Nursery stock is Ohio Grown, increasing the success rate of our Trees and Shrubs. Our Tropical Plants are shipped directly from Florida and unloaded into our greenhouses.
Our full line of Garden Merchandise allows one stop shopping from gardening tools to gifts. We carry a full line of insecticides, mitecides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers. Our selection includes natural and organic products.
Remember us at Christmas. We grow 12,000 poinsettias in many colors and varieties. If you are looking for a Fraser Fir Christmas tree, look no further. Our trees are grown in the mountains of North Carolina and are on our floor within days of being cut.

Dill’s Greenhouse is proud to be a part of our community. We thank you for your support and for considering us as part of your fundraising event.
Donation Request Submission Guidelines:
- All donation requests should be submitted at least two (2) weeks before the date of your event. Please print the donation request form and fill it out. The request form can be dropped off at the store, emailed, or mailed.
- Dill’s Greenhouse will consider requests from nonprofit organizations and their fundraising efforts in the Central Ohio area.
- Requests are approved at the discretion of Dill’s Greenhouse.
- Organizations are limited to one (1) request per twelve-month period.
- Donations will be given in the form of a Dill’s Greenhouse gift card, valid on in-store merchandise unless we are donating plants. We do not make cash donations, sponsorships, or purchase advertising space for events.
- Dill’s Greenhouse is unable to donate to individuals or for-profit companies, including employee/volunteer appreciation days and holiday events.
Please remember that submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
Due to the large volume of requests we receive, we are not able to reply to inquiries about the status of each request. We will contact you if we wish to donate after receiving a request.
If approved, the donation will be available for pick up in-store according to instructions in the email or phone call you receive.
